Time is a commodity that: Is going to be in short supply? Can’t be controlled? Can’t be bought or sold?
Yes. To all of the above. I am sitting on the fence thinking about telling it like it is. Only those smarter than me can “understand”. I am fine with that, as the field-of-play as been redrawn. No one holds the advantage.
I take that back. I stand in the real world cloaked with the Holy Spirit. I write four lines and delete five. I know what I want and need to say, but ultimately I have said all that has to be said. Gold, Silver, and Time are all commodities we experience each and every day. Gold and Silver can be used and burned. Time is the Golden Ticket. I am taking it and living every day. In the moment. NOW. In the moment. For tomorrow will have it’s own worries. Why use time today, for tomorrow? It is a hard habit to break, but I am learning. Put it down and move on.
My values have changed. The Lord also says not to worry about what we will eat or even wear. He uses the bird as an example. The birds neither gather nor store food. He takes care of them, like when someone is compelled to put out a feeder. One of the needs are met.
God does not heal everything all the time. His will is not for us to drive fancy cars or live in the life of luxury. His will (Jesus) is to listen, follow, and obey. IN. THAT. ORDER. When we draw close to Him? He will do likewise. Celebrate the small victories, like finding a lost coin. Its in the book. The Lost and Found Chapter 15, book of LUKE.
