These are used sparingly today, and rarely see eye to eye.
They get side-lined when discussing politics and religion. Faith and religion are also at odds with each other. The FACT is real TRUTH hurts.
Who likes to be told bad news, or something contrary to their belief? Zilch is the sum total.
We must judge the character of the people whose company we keep. The bible states the road to heaven is narrow and there are few who find it. God does not wink at sin. Jesus himself pulled a fast one when he kept his identity hid from Mary and the others after resurrection. He also told of His death, yet the 12 would not hear it, save only Judas Iscariot.
The fact is: Jesus is the Only way to heaven. The Truth is that Fact.
