I knew it was a Friday. ….but it wasn’t a May the Fourth Be with you….NOR was it a Cinco De Mayo…..I still didn’t give the 3rd a thought……SO, I had to do a lil diggin…..it is/was the third of May.
What about this May-ish third? It was a birthday kiss…….We were screening a movie Pines Mall 4 in 1991. I can’t remember the movie for obvious reasons…….My heart was in a state of panic. I was going down the dark path of infidelity, and IT FELT GOOD. I had been married eight years, and dated two years before that. But I was crossing a line I had not crossed before…..This day was our FIRST kiss.
I will spare the names, unless you know me personally, then you know part of the story. Each one has a special story. I will share the songs and feelings as best as I can without embarrassing anyone. I could bring the negative in real easy……but that is NOT my reason or purpose. Part of this is self preservation and my need to share.
Music, and smells are tied to our memory banks…..and when they are triggered it opens up all kinds of feelings~~~~ I want concentrate on the good feelings……. What songs generate the most memories for this person.
